FAQ

What is the difference between a regular session, mini session, and a themed session?


'Regular Sessions' - I offer these sessions all year round and they can be in the studio or on location. 'Mini-Sessions' - For me, these are one day only sessions that have a theme of some kind. Like Valentine’s day, Beach Vibes, Halloween or New Years! 'Themed Sessions' - - Seasonally themed sessions like cherry blossoms, sunflower fields, pumpkin patches, Christmas etc.




What is your booking deposit?


Every session will require a $50+ booking deposit at the time of booking. The booking deposit amount will be taken off of your final invoice! You will lose your booking deposit if: *You do not show up for your session OR you arrive late, and I am unable to do your session due to having another one right after and no longer having time for yours. Please note you will loose your booking deposit if:

*You give less than 48hrs notice of needing to reschedule for a weekday session
*You give less than 72hrs notice of needing to reschedule for a weekend session
*Rescheduling? No problem, your deposit will be transferred to the new day and time!




What are your booking policies?


*All bookings are subject to availability *My weekends book up months in advance *All bookings are to be made through my online booking system with a mandatory booking deposit required. The booking deposit will be taken off of your final invoice! How long does it take to receive my images?


7-10 business days! *Please note I am closed Sundays & Mondays Need them faster? No problem, let me know and I can customize a rush order for you!




Who owns the photos?


COPYRIGHT NOTICE- My City Photos owns all rights to images. By purchasing digital images this allows you to post them, share them, and print them but under no circumstance can you use them on packaging or any items that will be sold. If my images are used for any marketing or promotional purposes you are required by law to give photo credits. Thank you :)




What happens if I need to reschedule?


If you need to reschedule for whatever reason that is not a problem but please give me as much notice as possible as I am very busy and would love to fill that time slot with another family on the waitlist (especially if it is a weekend spot)! HOW TO RESCHEDULE If you need to reschedule please email me with a new day and time (that you know is available) and I will move your booking! Or you can find a rescheduling link in your original booking confirmation email. **Please do not book another session on your own, as you will need to pay another booking deposit.




What if it rains the day of my location session?


On the day of your session if the weather is not looking too good I will text and email you to either reschedule or if the studio is available we can go there if you like! I can shoot in very mild rain but not much more than that. My camera doesn't like the rain!




What is the difference between print and digital images?


Digital images are not a physical item they are what you use to make the prints and you can post these online to Facebook, Instagram etc. Prints you can hold in your hand and frame on a wall and those are available in the shopping cart in your gallery!

How much are prints?


Prints start at just $2 and a full list can be seen in your galleries shopping cart. 4x6 prints, Canvas, framed images, cards, and more are available!




Do you sell your raw or unedited images?


No, I do not. Giving out an unedited image is like giving you half a haircut haha. It is unfinished work and is not a full representation of my art.




Do you have a repeat client discount?


I sure do! I appreciate my repeat 'Frients' (Friend+client) SO much that when you book your 2nd, 3rd, 4th+ shoot with me you will receive 10% off of your session! *Not valid with Bundles or Referral bonuses




Do you have a Referral Program?


I sure do! If someone books with me because YOU told them about me then I will hook you up with 25% off your next full rate session with me!! When a booking is made I ask them where they heard about me from, they just need to put your name in that spot! Then I will email you your referral bonus! Details: - Does not expire - Referrals can not be combined with each other - Not valid with other promotions or offers




Late fees


Senarios: $50 will be charged for every 15min you are late - please read below for more details. Senario one; If you are 15min late for your 30min session and I do not have a sessio right after we should be able to still do the whole 30min. If you arrive late to your session a $50 fee will be charged for every 15min you are late. Senario two; If you are 15min late for your 30min session and I DO have a session right after you will only have the remaining time left of your original booking for photos (15 min). You will not be charged a late fee but you will still need to pay the full session amount.
