Booking deposit?

Every session will require a $50+t booking deposit at the time of booking. The booking deposit amount will be taken off of your final invoice! You will loose your booking deposit if: *You do not show up for your session *You give less than 48hrs notice of needing to reschedule for a weekday session *You give less than 72hrs notice of needing to reschedule for a weekend session *Rescheduling? No problem, your deposit will be transfered to the new day and time!

Who owns the photos?

COPYRIGHT NOTICE- My City Photos owns all rights to images. By purchasing digital images this allows you to post them, share them and print them but under no circumstance can you use them on packaging or any items that will be sold. If my images are used for any marketing or promotional purposes you are required by law to give photo credits. Thank you :))

What are your booking policies?

How long does it take to recive my final images?

7-10 business days! *Please note I am closed Sundays & Mondays Need them faster? No problem, let me know and I can customize a rush order for you!

How do I donwload my photos once you send them?

10-14 business days after your session I will email you your own personal online gallery where you can directly download your images, order prints and other awesome merch if you choose!

What happens if I need to reschedule?

If you need to reschedule for whatever reason please give me as much notice as possible as I am very busy and would love to fill that time slot with another family on the wait list (especially if it is a weekend spot!) HOW TO RESCHEDULE If you need to reschedule please email me with a new day and time (that you know is available) and I will move your booking! **Please do not book another session on your own, you will need to pay another booking deposit

What if it rains the day of my location session?

On the day of your session if the weather is not looking to good I will text and email you to either reschedule or if the studio is available we can go there! I can shoot in very mild rain but not much more than that. My camera doesn't like the rain! lol

Digital image VS Print? What is the difference?

Digital images are a not a physical item they are what you use to make the prints and you can post these online to Facebook, Instagram etc. Prints you can hold in your hand and frame on a wall!

What kind of backdrops do you have?

Quite a few! ​​ *Please keep in mind my style of photography is more lifestyle and I prefers to keep things simple! YOU are the focus, not the backdrop! *I get new things often and get rid of things often so if you see something in a photo I might not have it, please ask! If you are looking for something specific please send me an email and I will let you know if I can accommodate. If I don't have what you are looking for I would be happy to find it for you but I will charge you for the time acquiring the item and for the item cost. I do not provide clothes of any kind, everyone is different shapes and sizes and likes different things! I have a large selection of coloured backdrops and have lots of bunting banners, balloons, pompoms, birthday signs etc. to create custom backdrops. I have great props like vintage trunks, old cameras, chalk boards, crowns, funny glasses and hats, toys and more! If you have specific colours you would like to use during your session feel free to let me know OR feel free to make an appointment via email to come down to the studio prior to your session to see it all for yourself first! If you are not sure what you would like, I will lead the way and use my creativity to take amazing photos for you!

How do you edit the photos?

I want your photos to look their VERY best. From adding a modern filter, fixing hair, removing blemishes, a wee Nip&Tuck if needed, removing unwanted images from the background, brightening eyes, skin smooth, reducing dark under eyes, removing double chins (when possible) and more. Take a look at the photos on my site and in my gallery to get a good idea! I take hours to edit your photos so you and your family can show of the best versions of yourselfs! **After you recive your images and you would like any additional editing, sure just let me know and I'll do my best to accomidate your requests! **If I think a photo would look amazing in black and white you will recived a B&W option as well as the colour version! LOVE B&W photos, let me know and I'll make sure you have lots!

Location fees?

Location fees will only apply for any location further than 30km from the studio!

Do you have a Referral Program?

I sure do! If someone books with me because YOU told them about me then I will hook you up with 25% off your next full rate session with me!! When they book I ask them where they heard about me from, they just need to put your name in that spot! Then I will email you your referral bonus! Details: -Does not expire -Referrals can not be combined with each other -Not valid with other promotions or offers other than my 'Social Media Deal'

Do you have a repeat client discount?

I sure do! I appreciate my repeat 'Frients' (Friend+client) SO much that when you book your 2nd, 3rd, 4th+ shoot with me you will receive 10% off of your session! *Not valid with Bundles or Referral bonuses

What is your 'Social Media Deal'?

Once you have booked a session you can earn an additional 10% off by following these easy steps: 1. Like/follow my Facebook and Instagram page 2. Like the last 3 posts on both my FB and IG page 3. Tag 3 friends on one of my post on FB 4. Tag 3 DIFFERENT friends on a post on my IG page * Tag friends that you think would like a family photoshoot please* 5. Comment a 'heart' emoji on the last 3 posts on my FB and IG page 6. On Instagram click the 'Save to collections' icon on my last 3 posts! See the example image. 7. What is the difference between a regular session, mini session and themed session?

'Regular Sessions' - I offer specific packages/sessions all year round. These are my 'main' packages 'Mini Sessions' - *One day only themed sessions *Only 5-6 spots will be available for each Mini *Mini's need to be Pre sold-out before Mini actually happens. Why? I will be renting sets for these sessions! 'Themed Sessions' - - Seasonally themed sessions like Valentine's Day, Cherry blossoms, Sunflower fields, pumpkin patch, Christmas etc.
